To participate in major tournaments, a member must play to a maximum handicap index of 40.4, or 20.2 for a 9-hole game, or less computed from 20 scores. She must be a member of PWGA in good standing as of the eligibility date indicated on the Tournament Flyer. A maximum of 128 players with the lowest indexes will be accepted in the PWGA Open.

If a Major Tournament is oversubscribed, the following policy will apply:
Any entrant whose handicap index on the opening day is greater than 40.4 is excluded.
The following are automatically entered into the tournament provided the entry is completed online on the opening day of registration:
Current Board Members
The Defending Champion(s) of that tournament
Oversubscribed entrants (same individual or set of partners) of that tournament from the previous year.
A random draw of the remaining entries will be held to determine the field. All other opening day entries that do not make the field will be issued a notification allowing them to have priority in the field for the following year’s tournament.
No refunds will be issued after the closing date unless approved by the Tournament Director.
A $25.00 fee will be charged on all Tournament cancellations.
All cancellations must be made through the Tournament Director.

Player grants to PWGA and its legal representatives and assigns the irrevocable and unrestricted right to
use and publish photographs of player, or in which player may be included, for editorial, trade, advertising, and any other purpose and in any manner and medium; and
to alter and/or prepare composite pictures containing player’s image and use them in the manner described in (I), above, without restriction, and without player’s inspection or approval.
Player hereby releases Photographer and his/her legal representatives and assigns from all claims and liability relating to said photographs.
Players assume all risk of personal injury or property damage while on the premises where a PWGA Tournament and related events are conducted whether or not arising out of or resulting from the negligence, active or passive, of the sponsors, participants or other persons concerned in any capacity with the PWGA, and hereby release them and each of them from liability for any such injury or damage.
Players must be properly attired both on the golf course and on the premises of the club. This dress code will be used in conjunction with any additional dress code restrictions of the particular golf course that is the tournament site. A player violating this dress code will not be permitted to start the competition. A violation of the dress code by the player during the stipulated round must be rectified without undue delay or the player will not be allowed to continue.
Participants shall maintain proper course etiquette and play the game in the spirit of good sportsmanship. The Committee has the authority to disqualify a player or players for a serious breach of etiquette. Rule 33-7. Foul language or inappropriate behavior is cause for disqualification. Any violation or dispute shall be brought to the attention of the Committee BEFORE SIGNING THE SCORE CARD.
No caddies or spectators will be allowed at any Play day or Major Tournament unless specifically authorized in the flyer for that tournament.
