The Sonoma National Golf Course was chosen by the Pacific Women Golfers' Association for their seventh Annual Team Play Championship finals on August 19 and 20.

Having previously qualified within their zones, 136 golfers represented 34 PWGA member clubs throughout Northern California.

After two rounds of competition, Violet Hughes, Virginia Pease, Lyn Eubanks and Alice Benites of the Newark Women's Golf Club proved to be the 1975 Champions with a 268 best two/ball total of all the teams present.

Second place went to the Arbuckle Women's Golf Club's representatives: Pat Pingrey, Lilia Johnson, Vivianne Crownover, and Judy Geyer with a score of 272.

Five points below that at 277 were Ladivia Andrade, Sheri Erskine, Jean Maltby and Mike Wener of the San Ramon National Golf Club.

The ladies of the Sonoma National Golf Club won the tournament two years ago at the Rancho Canada Golf Course in Carmel.

Awards were presented at a buffet luncheon by the PWGA team play chairwomen Jean Butler, and East Bay Director-at-large, Billie Keating.
