The Swing Club Volunteers had a tournament March 14th at Palo Alto Muni Course. It was acclaimed a big success. Honors for the day went to Mabel Milde (Oak Ridge) for low gross. Doris Clair (Santa Teresa) won low net, and Marion Walker won low net for nine holes. The new President of Swing Club is Mae Murray, replacing Marie Dunlap, who has gone into United Voluntary Services.

Writing about Swing Club brings to mind that Jean Bruce (Moffett Field) had her second Hole-in-One of her life at the Veteran's Hospital. Of course, it isn't a regulation course, but Jean said it was a real thrill to see it drop in. She holed out #1 in 75 yards.

A generous heart and a sense of humor—What more is needed in a friend? The friends of Elsie Damico know that nothing more is needed and now sadness reigns.
