Miss Skadden & Mrs. Adams Get Eclectic Honors

Mr's Clinton Adams, holder of three Sacramento club titles and Alfaretta Skadden of Berkeley's Tilfen Park course won the field awards at the conclusion yesterday of a two-day Pacific Women Golfers Association eclectic tournament on the Ancil Hoffman Park course.

Mrs. Adams won the low gross prize with a score of 79. Counting her best scores in each of the two 18-hole rounds, Miss Skadden led in the handicap division with a net total of 69 5/8.

The tournament, which attracted 162 entries from public course clubs in the Valley and Bay areas, was followed by a luncheon in the Carl Greer Inn. Awards were presented by Mrs. Samuel Terry, PWGA Tourney Director, and Mrs. Jerry Barlett, North Valley Director of the association.

Mrs. Terry said the next valley event for the members will be a Play Day on April 6th, at the Sunset Oaks Course at Rocklin.
