A Generous Bequest. PWGA received this month a check for $10,000 in support of Junior Girls Golf. This money came from the Estate of long time PWGA member and Course Rater, Sally Bacon Anderson. Sally served on the East Bay Rating team from 1986, becoming the Area Chair in 1988, becoming the Course Rating Director in 1989 until her death in 1994. These funds will indeed be used to support Junior Girls Golf. The Junior Girls Committee will meet in December to decide how best to utilize these funds.

October 7th with the Awards Luncheon, Installation of Officers for 2010, & presentation
of the Annual Helen Lengfeld Award for outstanding service by a PWGA member.
All members are welcome for either or both days. The
