Girls Golf Team $500

| Reedley High School Girls Golf Team was founded about 10 years ago. Coach Ron Siebert teaches 8-10 girls (mostly first time golfers) the fundamentals of the game, Aug-Nov. The goal is to have fun, and enjoy the game as a life long sport. The Team practices at Sherwood Forest GC and plays 2-3 times a week. The $500 grant will help the team buy short game and putting aids, lessons and range time. | |

| Golden West HS Girls Golf Team first started in 2003. The team practices or plays 5 days a week at the Valley Oaks GC in Visalia July-Nov. The program works with beginners to advanced players. The $500 grant will help pay for practice balls, uniforms and green fees. | |
Rio Vista Middle School

| Rio Vista Middle School Girls Golf Team is now in their
third year. The club has over 40 members, and a team of 6-12 players.
The club practices daily, plays matches weekly and holds clinics monthly. These Fresno girls will use their $500 grant for green fees and range practice. |

| Thomas Jefferson Middle School Girls Golf Team receives a $500 grant for uniforms and equipment. The goal of the school is to teach the fundamentals, rules and etiquette of golf in a way that will encourage the girls to pursue the game in High School and on to adulthood. | |
